Yoga mat carriers that are on sale

Posted by admin On November - 15 - 20101 COMMENT

Through the process of yoga there are some essentials like a yoga mat carrier that you should bring with you for comfort and safety from slipping and small falls from the different positions that you will have to do. Once you have found the products that you need, there is still plenty of investigatory work to be done to make sure that you will be happy with your experience with it. Of course you will need to look at the prices that companies are asking for those products. You need to get equipment that is not only going to carry your mat but will also store your keys, your shoes, and maybe your pillow too.

Usually there are yoga stores that offer products at wholesale prices, and these are the same products that are offered in other regular stores. Usually it is a good idea to consider products with prices that are in the middle range. Yoga mat carriers that are on sale that usually sell for a higher price are usually decent products to buy as well because they are just on sale and maybe there are new models coming out.

You could probably go to the nearest sporting goods store for a yoga mat carrier that will most likely fit your mat, but the truth of the matter is that you could be a little frugal in the situation and do some comparison shopping online to get the best price for your money, that has the most features and the best materials to give the carrier some toughness as it will have to be carried most the time from place to place.

Of course, anyone who has attended yoga class knows that there are certain tools that are needed to aid the people attending it. One of the most important investments that need to be made is yoga mats. Carrying these can be a bit of a burden so one should really consider getting a yoga mat carrier.
Luckily, there are indeed many yoga mat carriers out in the market that is ripe for the picking for every yoga enthusiast out there. Yoga mat carriers can also be dubbed as yoga mat bags and they are two of the same. They come in the colors of red, navy blue, purple and black. They are mostly made out of nylon and that helps ones mat from getting wet during those rainy days. There are other bags out there that are made of cotton and other types of fabrics. However, nylon is the most common type that there is.

If you use your time wisely then you need to get on the Internet and find a site that can give you the option to purchase on of the yoga mat carriers for your yoga mat or even as a gift to someone in your class that you might think will use it. Any way you want to use the Rubber yoga mat carrier you will have the knowledge that you need to make an informed decision on what kind and what the average price is to find the lowest one out there. Jade Yoga Mat–Eco-Friendly Yoga Mats

Posted by admin On November - 7 - 20103 COMMENTS

Most people choose a standard yoga mat when they first get started in yoga without knowing about the harmful chemicals used to make the mat. These mats are readily available, inexpensive, easy to care for, and available in a variety of colors and patterns. Standard mats tend to be thin with very little cushioning, plus they release a chemical odor.
Eco-Friendly yoga mats are made from renewable materials like natural rubber, cotton, and jute.  Eco-friendly mats aren’t all created equal though. Mats made from natural rubber are thick with plenty of cushion, extremely durable, and absorb moisture nicely. Rubber mats tend to be much heavier and pricier than standard mats though. Sometimes rubber mats have a polyester scrim for nonslip performance so they aren’t entirely eco-friendly.

The Reebok eco Yoga Mats are made of premium quality soft synthetic foam, which is 5mm thick, all materials used to manufacture the Reebok eco Yoga Mats are made from 100% recycled matter (no latex of PVC) and is all recyclable & bio degradable . Jade Yoga Mat

Posted by admin On May - 26 - 2010Comments Off

Jade yoga mat is most environmentally-friendly for the world. And it is made with natural rubber rather than other synthetic rubbers. Jade mats are made in the U.S. with U.S. environmental and labor laws. Jade Yoga will plant one tree when every mat sold for the future.
Surely, as the popular premium mat,  Jade yoga mat offers a perfect balance of traction and cushion. It also offers slip-resistance. So you no longer have to worry about slipping even if it gets wet. The cushion is nice, especially if you attend classes at a studio with a hard floor surface. It is heavier than the average mat, so you’ll feel the difference rolling it up and carrying it around.
The natural rubber smell will dissipate over time. The best way to accelerate this process is to air the mat out. Because natural rubber has natural variations in smell, and everyone has different sensitivities, the amount of time it takes for the smell to dissipate varies.
Wash the yoga mat, you can hold water, I recommend simple wiping the surface of your mat. If your mat needs a deep cleaning, you can wash your mat by soaking in a bathtub, hosing it off or in a front loading washing machine on gentle. I recommend a mild soap. Do not use oils and harsh abrasives. The mat should lay flat to dry after cleaning.
About Jade Yoga
In a way, Jade Yoga began long before launching its first purple and blue Harmony yoga mats in 2002. Jade Yoga grew out of Jade Industries, a company that had been making non-slip natural rubber rug pads for area rugs since the early 1970s. For many years, Jade Industries also sold rug pads to select yogis in the area for use as yoga mats. As the story goes, rug mats first attracted the attention of yogis after B.K.S. Iyengar–who was in the U.S. doing a yoga demonstration on an oriental rug–asked a student to remove the rug after slipping repeatedly. Under the rug sat a rug mat, and the first yoga mat was born. Unfortunately, most yoga companies started making mats of cheap, imitation plastic or PVC instead–annoyingly slippery surfaces that were close to useless for many practices. Jade Yoga began in earnest in 2000 after it was approached by a savvy yogi who described the problem with these plastic and PVC mats. As Jade Industries were already making natural rubber rug pads, the company approached the problem from that angle and developed the Harmony, the first natural Rubber yoga mat. Located in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, Jade Yoga has a number of products in the pipeline that align with the company’s vision of producing high-quality products in an Earth-friendly way.

This review:
When I started yoga I bought a mat I thought was pretty- but it was thin and slippery. After that was a plain mat that was thick, but I sunk into the mat and balancing was really difficult. Then I found this mat…. This mat provides great cushion, but its high density so no sinking in. Its sticky (gets stickier with use) so no slipping. I also like that the mat is light weight. I bought the orange one and I love looking at this color while I practice- for some reason it makes me happy. The only bad thing about this mat is that it smelled horrible for the first couple of weeks. If you can get over the fact that the mat will smell in the beginning you will be rewarded with one of the best mats on the market.
