My mom is a yoga instructor, but honestly, I really don’t understand what it does. I guess it can make you more flexible, which I suppose is a good thing, but is that all?

Question by lococolo22: Could anyone find me a good yoga routine to strengthen my surfing?
Just so you know, I’m thirteen, great are cardio, but just not that strong in my core. Strengthening it would be very helpful. I’m an inexperienced yoga student but will learn fast. And I want something that would only be up to twenty minutes a night.

Thank you! If you have any other excercises you think would help, please tell me!

What’s the difference between Pilate’s and Yoga? I practice Pilate’s one in a while when I am stressed or when my body is in pain :/. Yoga seems to be similar but what’s the difference.

Also which one is your favorite and are any good DVDs you would recommend to do at home?
